Interstate 5 Collision Injures 3

On Saturday, May 30, 2015 at approximately 1:17 PM, 19-year-old Carissa Kerr of Sacramento was traveling southbound on Interstate 5, just north of Hahn Road when for unknown reasons allowed her vehicle to cross into the center median and onto the northbound lanes.

Kerrs vehicle collided with a Silver Ford Edge driven by, 60-year-old Daniel Ferris.

Subsequently, the collision caused Ferris vehicle to travel off the east shoulder and overturn.

Kerr was transported to Vacaville Medical Center.

Ferris and his passenger, 56-year-old Dani Ferris were transported to Colusa Regional Medical Center.

The northbound lane of Interstate 5 was closed for approximately 45 minutes while authorities completed their on-scene investigation, and the roadway cleared.

The collision is under investigation with the Williams Area CHP.
