Three people suffered minor injuries on Saturday after two vehicles crashed at the northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp in Maxwell.
On Saturday, August 23, 2014, the crash was reported just after 9:00 a.m. on Maxwell Road from the Interstate 5 exit said the California Highway Patrol.
Cali Shen, 26 of Pasadena, California was exiting Interstate 5 using the northbound off ramp in a 2011 Honda, with a 25-year-old passenger.
During that time, Arthur Vansant, 70 of Marysville, was traveling eastbound on Maxwell Road in a 1995 Chevy, at approximately 30 MPH as he approached the intersection of the northbound Interstate off-ramp.
According the California Highway Patrol, Shen stopped at the posted off ramp stop sign then made a left turn directly into the oncoming path of Vansant; subsequently, the two vehicles collided at the intersection.
All parties suffered minor injuries; however declined medical transportation.–Â
