We were traveling on Sept. 11. Driving through Montana, I noticed many American flags flying at half-staff.
It seemed more than appropriate.
We have sworn not to forget the tragedy of that day in 2001.
As I woke up today, I remembered that it is Sept. 12. Like so many others I’ve heard say, we should be the person we were on Sept. 12, 2001. I agree.
We should be of that united mindset. We should be united in pride and support of America.
It makes one wonder when we lost that mindset.
I am positive our Founding Fathers didn’t have a clue that our nation would turn into the battleground that it is now.
Shame on us.
Wouldn’t it be better to get along?
As we head to our vacation place in California, we are excited. We will celebrate a wedding while we’re there.
It means time with family and friends who are like family.
I have to stop and remind myself how truly blessed I have been with the people I’ve met along the way in my lifetime.
Not everyone still spends time with their high school pals. I believe that is a gift for sure.
As Tom, Rocky Dog and I travel this week to California, we are taking a different route than we usually do.
We enjoyed our drive through Wyoming today. I always enjoy spotting wildlife and just drinking in the beauty of this part of our country.
Try to act like you did on Sept. 12, 25 years ago. We were better then.
Life could be good today.
