After taking it on the chin in Sutter last Tuesday, the Bears bounced back with a sweep of Vacaville Christian at home two days later.
On the road against the Huskies, Pierce never really got on track falling by scores of 8-25, 15-25, 16-25.
Team stat leaders from the match included Rylie Delepierre with eight kills and two blocks, Leslye Velazquez with 10 digs and 30 service receptions, in addition to Audrey Weber who handed out 12 assists.
Back in the confines of Natalie Corona Gymnasium, the Bears got by the Falcons 26-24, 25-22, 25-23.
Velazquez did her thing in the back row collecting 21 digs and 26 service receptions, while Presli Harris pitched in with 13 digs.
Delepierre slammed down eight kills and Weber distributed another 12 assists.
This week, the Bears (6-11) hosted Clear Lake in its final preseason match before heading north to face Willows in their Sacramento Valley League opener.
