COLUSA, CA (MPG) – Princeton residents will have an opportunity to dispose of household items at no cost Saturday, Aug. 29, as Colusa County and Recology host a Community Clean-Up Dumpster Day at the Princeton Branch Library.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library parking lot at 232 Prince St.
Dumpsters will be available for household waste, electronic waste and green waste at no charge.
Supervisor Janice Bell will be at the event to answer questions about county programs, services and other local issues.
The Colusa County Literacy Program will also provide Bell with a selection of free children’s books to distribute while supplies last.
Hazardous chemicals, asbestos-containing materials, gas cylinders or tanks, concrete, dirt, bricks and treated construction debris will not be accepted.
A second event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Grimes Branch Library parking lot, 240 Main St. Supervisor Daurice Kalfsbeek-Smith will attend the Grimes event.
