Expungement and Employment Law Workshop– 10 a.m. to noon, Colusa County One Stop, 146 Market St., Colusa. Capital Pro Bono will provide information on eligible crimes, the expungement process, Clean Slate law updates, discrimination and at-will employment. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions, and Capital Pro Bono will accept applications for additional legal services following the workshop. Princeton 4-H Enrollment Night, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Princeton Elementary School cafeteria. Colusa County 4-H will hold an enrollment night for youth and families interested in participating in the Princeton 4-H program.
Thursday, Aug. 27
Colusa Certified Farmers Market, 4 to 7 p.m., Veterans Memorial Park, 10th and Market streets, Colusa. Shop fresh locally grown produce, baked goods, handmade items, and artisan crafts while supporting local farmers and vendors. The weekly market also features community organizations, children’s games, and activities. The market is held every Thursday through Aug. 27. Senior Spread, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the second and fourth Fridays of each month at Trinity Friendship Hall, 511 Oak St., Colusa. A gathering for senior citizens, with lunch served at noon. Cost is $5, or $3 if you bring a dish to share.
Sunday, Aug. 30
Ice Cream Social, 6 p.m., Arbuckle United Methodist Church, Arbuckle. The church will host its annual Ice Cream Social featuring an ice cream sundae bar, cookies and a fishing booth for children. The event is free, but donations are appreciated.
Fifth Sunday Hymn Sing, 6 to 7 p.m., St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 642 Fifth St., Colusa. Join the congregation for an evening of favorite hymns followed by light refreshments.
