MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) – Adventist Health and Rideout Cancer Care Center will host its 16th annual Cancer Survivor Celebration on June 2, inviting patients and their families to gather, connect and mark their cancer journeys.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cancer Care Center, 618 Fifth St. The celebration will include a luncheon and an opportunity for survivors to spend time with fellow patients and care teams.
Sara Thomas, an oncology clinical educator at Adventist Health and Rideout, said the event reflects the strength of those facing cancer and the support behind them.
“We are honored to celebrate the incredible strength and resilience that our cancer patients and survivors demonstrate throughout their cancer journeys,” Thomas said.
Organizers said the event is made possible through support from the Adventist Health Rideout Foundation and its donors.
Patients and families interested in attending can register or request more information by contacting Cierra Henry at 530-749-4478 or HenryCR@ah.org.
The annual gathering continues a long-running effort by the cancer care center to bring patients together in a supportive setting while recognizing their experiences and progress.
