The stop will be located on Fourth Street in front of McDonald’s. The RABA route runs between Redding and Sacramento and will now include a stop in Williams twice daily. Scheduled arrival times in Williams are 11:19 a.m., 3:39 p.m., 4:18 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

City officials also reported that construction has begun on the Maverik gas station project at 1804 Old Highway 99 near the intersection of Husted Road and Old Highway 99. City officials said a Median Household Income Study will begin next month. Surveys will be mailed to residents and officials asked community members to respond accurately based on their current household situation.

The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for March 23 at 6 p.m. at Williams City Hall.

The city also reminded businesses that annual business license renewal notices are currently being sent by email. Businesses that have not provided an email address are encouraged to contact the city. New business license applications are available online only through the city’s website cityofwilliams.org.
