Rhine Named Upper Elementary Principal

WILLIAMS, CA (MPG) – Williams Unified School District has named Matthew Rhine as the new principal of Williams Upper Elementary School.

District officials announced the appointment this week, welcoming Rhine to the campus and to the community.

Rhine brings more than 20 years of experience in public education. He began his career in Lancaster and served as a middle school teacher, instructional coach and vice principal in Palmdale. Most recently, he worked as principal of Community Collaborative Charter School, a TK-8 campus in Sacramento.

His family moved to Northern California in 2021. And said he looks forward to supporting students’ academic and social growth and building partnerships with families.

Outside of school, Rhine is a husband and father of twin sons. He enjoys cycling, hiking and spending time outdoors with his family.
