Four turnovers proved too much to overcome for the Yellowjackets as they fell short in a Mid-Valley League game.
Matthew Cervantes threw for 97 yards and ran for another 60 to lead the offensive effort while Julian Garcia and Ricardo Medina rushed for 45 and 40 yards respectively.
For the ‘Jacket defense, Julio Rosales made a game-high 14 total tackles, with Azael Velazquez, Rafael Moreno and Varion Gonzalez each finishing with eight tackles apiece.
Tonight, Williams (3-6, 1-4) makes the short trip to Maxwell (6-3, 4-1) to face the Panthers in the final MVL game of the season.
Maxwell 7 – Hamilton City 56
A showdown for outright control of the Mid-Valley League did not go as planned for the Panthers as they struggled on both sides of the ball.
