PRINCETON, CA (MPG) – Princeton Joint Unified School District students got a glimpse of what the future may hold last Wednesday morning when they participated in the high school’s annual Career Day.

Day on Oct. 8.
Organized by English teacher Lisa Chavez, the goal as she explained was “for each student to walk away with the knowledge of something new to do post-high school. I encourage my students to look at all the options. Not only is college there for them, but they may be interested in attending one of the CTE programs in the area as well.”
With 38 presenters spanning three counties, there was certainly much to see with representatives from Butte and Shasta Colleges in addition to those from the agricultural, education and law enforcement sectors to name a few.
Students engaged with presenters asking questions which Chavez also said “was a great way for the students to make connections with people.”
