ARBUCKLE, CA (MPG) — Families filled LaVanche Hursh Park on Saturday for the annual Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival, hosted by the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee.

The community event once again brought together local vendors, food trucks, and families celebrating the arrival of fall. Rows of tents lined the park lawn with handmade crafts, home décor, and fall-themed gifts, while Tri Counties Bank served slices of pumpkin pie to visitors.
Children enjoyed face painting and other family activities, and shoppers browsed tables offering everything from baked goods to cheer apparel. Several vendors reported steady business throughout the morning as the crowd continued to grow.

Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes were available for purchase, adding to the fall atmosphere that has become a signature part of the event. A photo area decorated with hay bales, pumpkins, and colorful balloons gave families a place to stop for pictures.
The Arbuckle Revitalization Committee, formed in 2002, continues to organize the festival each year as part of its mission to support community pride and downtown revitalization. Committee members say events like the Pumpkin Festival help strengthen local connections and give residents an opportunity to gather in a relaxed setting.
This year’s strong turnout reflected the community’s continued enthusiasm for local events. Visitors lingered to chat with vendors and neighbors, many stopping to sample treats or take photos before leaving with pumpkins and handmade goods.
The Arbuckle Revitalization Committee’s next event will be the annual Downtown Arbuckle Car Show, held Sunday, Oct. 26.
