Friday, Oct. 3 & Saturday, Oct. 4

Antique Bottle Show

The Sacramento Valley Museum Antique Bottle Show will be held on Oct. 4 and 5 at 1491 E Street, Williams. Neighbors, friends, collectors are all invited to come and celebrate the history, community and joy of collecting. Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it is a $20 admission. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free.

 

Saturday, Oct. 4

Bake Sale

Colusa Assembly of God will host a bake sale on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sav Mor, 1017 Bridge Street, Colusa. All proceeds will go towards raising money for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.

 

Sunday, Oct. 5

Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival

The Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival will be held on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LaVanche Hursh Park, Arbuckle. Join the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee for a day filled with pumpkins and gourds, craft and food vendors and Fall fun! Wear your Halloween costumes and get ready to trick-or-treat at every booth and vendor!

 

Wednesday, Oct. 8

Caregivers Support Group Meeting

The Caregivers Support Group for those caring for individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer/Parkinson’s Disease will meet from 10 am to 11:30 am on the Second Wednesday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church, 326 Jay St., Colusa. The meetings are confidential and are open to all who are interested.

 

Colusa VFW Monthly Meeting

The Colusa VFW Post #2441 meets the second Wednesday of each month. Dinner is served at 6 p.m., and a business meeting is held at 7 p.m. New members are welcome to join, just inquire or send an email to ColusaVFW@gmail.com. For hall rental please call 530-405-6322. Colusa VFW Post #2441 is a non-profit veterans organization serving the veterans and citizens of Colusa County.

 

Friday, Oct. 10

Senior (Citizen) Spread

Trinity United Methodist Church of Colusa will host a senior citizen lunch program on the second and fourth Friday of the month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Friendship Hall, 511 Oak Street, Colusa. Lunch will be served at noon, and the cost is $5 a person or $3 a person if one provides a side dish. The main dish will be provided, but attendees may provide side dishes and desserts. Saturday, Oct. 18

Tick… Tick… Tick…

The Sacramento Valley Museum will host a special screening of “Tick…Tick… Tick…” which is the 1970 film shot in Downtown Colusa, on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the museum, 1491 E Street, Williams. The evening begins with cocktails at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and the movie at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50. For more information, visit sacvalleymuseum.org or call (530) 473-2978.

Colusa County Republicans Meeting

The Colusa County Republicans will be meeting on the third Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Colusa Assembly of God Church, 1747 CA-20, Colusa.

 

Saturday, Oct. 25

Puptoberfest

Come celebrate with your furry friends and support FOCCAS in their efforts to improve the lives of the animals at the Colusa County Animal Shelter at the 7th annual Puptoberfest! Puptoberfest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Veterans Memorial Park in Colusa. There will be a dog costume contest, raffle, BBQ lunch, local vendors, lawn games, library book giveaway, and crafts for kids! Adults, kids, and friendly dogs welcome!

 

Trunk or Treat

The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce & the Colusa County Fairgrounds invite you to Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, from Noon to 2 p.m., at the Colusa Fairgrounds Parking Lot. Bring your costume and come hang out with friends! All members of the community are welcome!

 

Thursday, Oct. 30

Sacramento Valley Museum, 1491 E Street, Williams, will host a spine-chilling Haunted House on Oct. 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. Guests are invited to enter if they dare through the museum’s basement for a frightful experience filled with eerie surprises. Chamber Business After Hours

The Colusa County Chamber of Commerce is inviting all their members to join Chamber Business After Hours at The Tap Room, 121 8th Street, Colusa, on the last Friday of the month, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Time to relax and enjoy while also having opportunity to review member products and services, network, and raffle.
