Who are the so-called entitled among us?
I’ve come to the conclusion that entitlement is a frame of mind. It’s all in your head if you believe you are entitled to anything. Narcissists are another option. You are always wrongly accused; nothing is your fault when bad things happen. You are special, others aren’t.
I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating. None of us are entitled to anything we didn’t earn. And we need to live up to our own mistakes and accept faults as appropriate.
I live a comfortable life. But the years before now were filled with challenges. I have worked long and hard. I sometimes had more months left than money.
My parents instilled in me the importance of faith, honesty and hard work.
The combination of those things will lead us in the right direction.
I am so sick of politicians deciding what stupid battles to fight for us. Or more likely for their own political wellbeing. How about letting us (the voters) decide which dog they should have in the fight?
Sadly, we are living in a scary world these days. Daily I wonder if God has had enough yet. He could put the kibosh on us all – entitled or not at any given time.
Our best bet is to appreciate what we have; work to get what we want and own our own shortcomings. It’s up to us, no one else to live a just and respected life.
