DURHAM, CA (MPG) – In their final preseason tune-up before the start of the Sacramento Valley League season, the Colusa RedHawks’ track team got strong showings in both the varsity boys and girls distance races at the Durham Invitational which was held on Apr. 4.
Benji Granados set a personal record in the 3200 meters with a time of 10:21.47, which was good for second, then ran a season’s best 4:49.54 in the 1600 to finish third.
Meanwhile, his counterpart, Rajdeep Shoker took second in the 1600 in a time of 5:54.12 and third in the 3200 in 13:11.85.
Colusa made its way to Winters on Wednesday this week to participate in the first SVL meet.
