
PARADISE, CA (MPG) – On the road in Paradise, the RedHawks earned a 6-3 win over the Bobcats in a Sacramento Valley League match played on Mar. 26.
Colusa’s top of the ladder set the tone in singles as No. 1 Marcos Deniz posted a 6-1, 6-1 win, No. 2 Elias Sierra downed his opponent 6-0, 6-2, while No. 3 Gavin Recendez triumphed 7-5, 6-3.
Picking up the RedHawks’ final singles’ victory was No. 5 Sam Fantl, who won in a tiebreaker 6-3, 2-6, 10-7.
In doubles, Sierra and partner Eddie Purvis prevailed 8-1 in the No. 2 spot, with the No. 3 duo of Recendez and Fantl blanking the competition 8-0.

This week Colusa returned home to square off against Paradise on Apr. 1 before making the trek to Alturas for a match with Shasta View Academy on Apr. 3.
