Defending section champion Williams remained unbeaten thus far on the season with two road wins last week.
Ernie Lemus struck for two goals and assisted on another by Salvador Ruiz, while goalkeepers Brian Jimenez and Jose Pineda made four saves apiece to shutout the Lions.
In Hamilton City, Leo Hernandez recorded the brace, with Lemus and Leo Esparza each putting one in the back of the net to lead the Yellowjackets over the Braves.
Pineda kept a clean sheet, making six saves in the process.
In its final games before the winter break, Williams (4-0) hosted Willows on Dec. 16, Orland on Dec. 17, and then traveled to Durham on Dec. 19.

The RedHawks saw a win over visiting Corning slip away as a Cardinal goal with just seconds remaining forced them to settle for the draw.
Romeo Ponce scored for Colusa, while goalkeeper Oscar Ramos played admirably in goal, blocking a penalty kick and fending off a multitude of shots given that Corning dominated the possession battle.

At the Live Oak Tournament, the RedHawks went 1-1 before rain cut short play.
No other information was made available.

Colusa (2-1-2) was busy this week, hosting Gridley and Orland on Dec. 18 and 19 respectively, ahead of today’s action at the Pierce Tournament.

Last week was a rough one for the Bears who dropped all three contests.

Although no statistics were provided, the Bears evened their record at 1-1 with a shutout victory on the road in Arbuckle.
In its only match this week, Pierce played Live Oak on Dec. 17.

Colusa’s struggles to find the back of the net continued last week as they dropped a close one to the Cardinals.
Statistics were not made available.
Still searching for its first win, the RedHawks hosted Gridley on Dec. 18 and Orland the following day.
