Ducks Going Strong

Colusa, Ca (MPG) – The Colusa Ducks trap shooting team opened their season in early March with a tournament in Stockton.

Shooters Caleb Manhart would take fifth place in the IA division with a score of 86/100. Teammate Trevor Miles took second place in the rookie division with a score of 59/100. Grayson Hardwick would find himself in a shoot-off for varsity trap but would come up short in fifth place.

As their season progressed, the Ducks would return to Stockton for their next two contests.

On Saturday March 23, the Ducks Devin Wurm would put forth a strong showing, finishing second place in the YA division. Teammate Caleb Manhart tied for fourth place

with a score of 89/100 and took the win in the shoot-off. Trevor Miles would take fifth place in the rookie division with a score of 51/100.

Sunday March 24, Wurm would shoot 95/100 and secure fourth place in the young adult division while Dustin Wurm took 5 th in varsity with a score of 95/100. In an outstanding performance, Robert Shadley would tie for 1 st place with a score of 90/100 and take the shoot-off win.
