Easter Egg Hunt
Colusa Assembly of God, 1747 State Highway 20, will host its sixth annual community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 30, from 11 am to 2 pm. Spring Time Photo Walk at East Park Reservoir
Calling all photo enthusiasts and nature lovers! All are welcome to enjoy a wonderful morning of springtime bliss and participate in a photo walk at East Park Reservoir in Stonyford, 4415 Sites Lodoga Road, at 10 am. Virgina Read Day
The Virgina Yerxa Community Read Day will be celebrating their book-in-common, “Epitaph for a Peach,” by Mas Masumoto. Festivities will begin at 10 am at the Sunrise Fresh Dryers located at 7207 Moon Bend Road, Colusa. For more information, please visit www.virginiaread.net.
Salmon Bend Art Studios Presents “Still Life On The Farm”
Salmon Bend Art Studios will present a special spring gallery event showcasing the oil paintings of local artist Patti Tauscher. The exhibition, titled “Still Life On The Farm,” will be open to the public on Saturday, April 6, from 12 pm to 4 pm. Salmon Bend Art Studios is located at 3606 Brown Road, Colusa.

WCCA Youth Art Show
The Williams Community Center Association, 860 C Street, will once again host the Joan Holybee Memorial Youth Art Show on Saturday, April 13, 10 am to 2 pm. The art show is open to all 7-12 grade students from Colusa County. Deadline for submissions will be Monday, April 8. Please label your pieces on the back with name, school, and grade. Turn your pieces in to your teacher or your school’s front office. There will be cash prizes for First, Second, Third and Best of Show. All types of art media are welcome! Family Fair
The Colusa County Local Child Care Planning Council will host its annual Family Fair on Saturday, April 13, 10 am to 2 pm, in the Main Exhibit Building at the Colusa County Fairgrounds. The Family Fair is a free event honoring young children and all those who make a difference in children’s lives. Activities will include face painting, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and so much more.
