MAXWELL, CA (MPG) The Blue and Gold Boosters, a nonprofit organization that supports athletic programs for Maxwell High School students, held their biggest event of the year at the American Legion Hall on March 1, 2024. Local Panther fans came out in droves to show their support for athletes at the Boosters’ annual dinner, raffle, and silent dessert auction, made possible from the contributions of local businesses and donors. Recognition was given to the 2024 recipient of the Panther Fan award, which honored Mike and Karen Riordan, of Maxwell, for their countless support and attendance at games. The Boosters gifted the couple with three passes to home games.
