
COLUSA, CA (MPG) – In their home opener last Thursday, the RedHawks banged out 15 hits and were the beneficiaries of nine free passes as they rolled over Anderson 14-0 in a run rule shortened contest.

Abril Guzman and Cece Mitchum each collected three hits apiece, while Elli Santana picked up two in the blowout win.
In the circle, Ava Garcia and Olivia Nair combined to no hit the Cubs, with Garcia getting the start and striking out eight over three innings before giving way to Nair who closed out the final two frames recording three strikeouts.
This week Colusa (1-0) traveled to Clear Lake on Mar. 5, before returning home for its own Randy Watt Tournament, which began today with games against Winters and Yreka and concludes tomorrow when the RedHawks square off against Oroville and Corning.
