Cynthia Kay Thompson, 70, passed away on October 8, 2023. She was surrounded by her family and friends. Born to Richard and Kathryn Larsen on September 30, 1953 she graduated from Healdsburg High School in 1971 and married Dale Thompson on October 6, 1973. Together they raised their family in Colusa, California, where Cindi can be remembered by many youth in the community as the Burchfield “lunch lady”.
In addition to her parents, Cindi was predeceased in death by her siblings, JoAnn and Rick. She leaves behind her hus-band of 50 years, Dale, and their 3 children and spouses Sara & Mark Parriott, DeeDee & Brad Cardosa, and Jonathan & Katherine Thompson. She also leaves her 6 grandchildren – Hunter & Shane Parriott, Jackson Cardosa, and Lorna, Mayah, & Norah Thompson.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Dec. 2nd at 2pm at Rocco’s Banquet Hall in Colusa. In lieu of flowers, those who would like to remember Cindi in a special way are encouraged to donate to a charity of your choice.
