LEESVILLE, CA (MPG) – The Colusa County Sheriff”s Office and allied agencies have continued to locate a 15-year-old Leesville teen, who reportedly left home with a boyfriend more than a week ago.
Lilly Edwards was last seen at her residence on Oct. 8. Her family reported that they had found Edwards had packed a bag and left sometime in the night after placing pillows under the covers of the bed to give the appearance of a body sleeping, officials said.
Edwards is believed to have left with Andrew Magana, of Maxwell, and that the pair may have been transported from her home by Magana’s friend.
The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office is utilizing all the tools and resources available to investigate this as a runaway juvenile, although her family fears for her safety and that she may be endangered, officials said. The search has taken law enforcement to Placer County, but leads have not yet panned out, officials said.
Anyone with information about Edwards’ or Magana’s whereabouts are asked to call Sgt. Luis Ruiz at (530) 458-0200.
