MT. SHASTA, CA (MPG) – After enduring a brutal preseason schedule that saw them enter last Friday night’s game on a three-game slide, the Yellowjackets righted the ship on the road as they came away with a resounding 41-6 victory over Mt. Shasta to open the regular season.
Coach Forrest Bateman was proud of his team’s performance saying, “The kids bounced back well after the last two games. They prepared and executed together on both sides of the ball.”

Three of Bowen’s passes were caught by Daniel Brunner, who finished the night with 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
