ARBUCKLE, CA (MPG) – The community of Arbuckle gathered at LaVanche Hursh Park in Arbuckle on Saturday as the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee hosted the annual Arbuckle Pumpkin Festival.
The festival brought back all the event staples, including a vendor fair, food, face painting, learning opportunities, Cinderella’s Pumpkin Carriage for photos, and of course, lots of locally grown pumpkins of every color, shape, and sizes.

“We had a few vendors that didn’t make it but, overall, it (was) a very good day and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves,” said Elijah Rodriguez, organizer.
The Arbuckle Revitalization Committee was formed in 2002 to refresh, restore, and revitalize business and community pride in the Town of Arbuckle.
“This event is a must for me and the kids,” said Sharon Peters, whose three-year-old son Nathan’s pick of pumpkins were too heavy for him to carry – leaving him to set his sights on a couple of Jack-Be-Littles.
ARC hosts several community events throughout the year, including the Annual Downtown Arbuckle Car show, which will be held Oct. 29, and the Hometown Holiday Stroll that will be coming up in December. The events help raise money to carry out community projects and allow other organizations to raise funds for school athletic programs and other activities. H
