Elwood “Lyman” Saltzen of Sacramento, CA passed away February 27, 2023. Born August 14, 1934, to Elwood and Elva Saltzen of Dixon, CA, Lyman is survived by his wife, JoAn Saltzen of Sacramento, his children Paul (Valerie) Saltzen of Shingle Springs, Eric (Stella) Saltzen of Roseville, stepchildren Danelle Stylos of Sacramento, Lee Stylos of Stillwater, Minnesota, Kosta (Toni) Stylos of Waikoloa, Hawaii, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lyman was a retired educator and farmer, as well as an accomplished musician. He had a love of opera, baseball and martinis. He will be missed by family and friends. Lyman was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carolyn. Private services held. ■
