Colusa County and the Rural Counties’ Environmental Services will sponsor a free tire drop off location from 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, March 11 and March 18. Please bring passenger truck and car tires without rims to the Colusa County Road Department, 5714 E St. Williams. There is no charge to residents of Colusa County and no more than nine tires per user will be accepted. For a Transportation Exemption to carry up to 20 tires or for more information, call Colusa County Public Works at (530) 458-0466. The tire amnesty is funded by a grant from CalRecycle. ■
