The Colusa City Council appointed Jamie Davis-Meyer to the Parks, Recreation, and Tree Commission on Dec. 20 to complete the remaining two years of a four-year term. During college, Davis-Meyer became a gardener/landscape maintenance worker, and after training, she moved to a retail nursery. For almost 15 years, Davis-Meyer managed a mobile home community, including large scale construction projects regarding landscaping. The City of Colusa still has one remaining unfilled vacancy with a 2024 term expiration on the Parks, Recreation, and Tree Commission, officials said.
