Pierce High School and Lloyd Johnson Jr. High presented the 2022 Winter Arts Showcase on Dec. 15. In addition to artwork on display, a full concert by the combined band, junior high band, various ensembles and performers was presented by Don Joel inside the auditorium. Performances include holiday favorites like “Let it Snow,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Jessica Smith performed a dramatic monologue. Alyce Joel performed a violin solo, and Oswaldo Ramirez performed a solo on the Xylophone. The event was the first of its kind and is planned to be an annual showcase of student talents in art, theater, and music.
