The Colusa County Board of Supervisors have selected Supervisor Kent Boes to remain as the county’s representative on the California State Association of Counties Board of Directors.
The board also nominated Supervisor Daurice Smith to serve as alternate, replacing Supervisor Merced Corona, who served as the alternate in 2022.
The CSAC board will be appointed by the CSAC executive committee at the annual conference, which begins Nov. 14 in Anaheim. Both Boes and Smith will attend.
The primary purpose of CSAC is to represent county government before the California Legislature, administrative agencies, and the federal government.
