Williams appoints planning commissioner

The Williams City Council last week appointed Jonathan Solis to the Williams Planning Commission, after he was nominated by one of the current Planning Commissioners, Maria Leyva.

Solis has resided in Williams for a number of years and in that time has shown much interest in community involvement, officials said.

Solis is an architectural designer, and has seven years experience, with knowledge in both residential and commercial architecture.

Solis has worked on projects for master-planning, educational facilities, hospitals, corrections department, and construction administration. Solis said he plans to be proactive in the town’s improvements, as long as it’s effective for the community members, and hopes to make the town of Williams a happier place with the right tools and effective decisions. ■
