The Colusa City Council on May 3 appointed Thomas Roach to the Colusa Park, Tree, and Recreation Commission. Roach is a resident of Colusa or resides within two miles boundaries of the city. Roach said he enjoys the city parks and wants to help maintain their availability to the community. He completed high school, attended some college, and has excellent communication skills that will enable him to be a fair and comprehensive representative of the community on the commission. Commission appointments are four four-year terms.
