WANTED IN COURT (03/24/2022)

Colusa County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey A. Thompson issued a $100,000 bench warrant on March 21 for the arrest of Michael Neuman, 42, of Lucerne, for failure to appear in Colusa County Superior Court for a trial readiness conference. Neuman is charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and robbery in connection to the alleged Dec. 17, 2020, robbery of a Lake County man who was staying at the Colusa Casino Resort and Hotel. Neuman’s alleged co-conspirator, Jillian Lynn Beeman, 37, of Lake County, is scheduled to enter a plea on similar charges on April 19. Beeman was on the run after the incident and was picked up on a $50,000 bench warrant that was issued in 2021 after she failed to appear in court as scheduled.

A $50,000 bench warrant each was issued March 21 for Jose Fernando Vasquez Blas, 32, and Vanessa Houston after they failed to appear in court for a preliminary hearing. The pair were charged Feb. 9, 2022, on suspicion of unlawfully taking a vehicle, a felony, and two misdemeanor charges involving resisting arrest and drug possession. Both were released on their own recognizance pending court proceedings.
