The Colusa Ducks opened the 2023 trap season on Saturday, March 11, at the Yolo Sportsmen’s club, in less than favorable conditions. It saw Parker Goodman take first place in varsity with a 96/100. The IA division was dominated by Colusa, with Robert Peiffer taking first place with a 95/100; Ayden Hunt took third place with 89/100; Rowdy Davidson placed fourth with a 85/100; and Max Reading placed fifth with a 79/100. The IE division had Caleb Manhart taking first place with a 91/100 and Logan Vandeburgh taking fourth place with a 72/100. The Ducks will compete on March 25 in Sloughhouse, Calif. ■
