Stephanie Lorraine Dennis

03/08/1973 - 08/26/2022

In the afternoon of August 26, we lost a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, colleague, and best friend due to complications from Breast Cancer.

Stephanie entered this world in the early afternoon of Thursday, March 8, 1973, to Stan and Betty Shatto in LaGrange, Indiana.

She was the oldest of 4 siblings. She moved to Herminston, Oregon, then to West Sacramento, where she graduated from River City High School in 1991.

Afterwards, she moved to Dixon. While working as manager at the Union 76 station, she met her future husband, William, who only stopped by to buy a soda on a hot September day. Her life would never be the same.

After the birth of their twins, she found employment with the Esparto School District, working as secretary to the Esparto High School, where she worked for nearly 21 years, loving every minute of it.

Active in the FFA. CSEA, the Athletic Booster, the Maxwell 4- H, and many more. She would be found working gate (even while doing treatment) at all Friday night home football games, as well as basketball, and baseball games. She would always be found helping to make pancakes for the FFA during their annual breakfast during the Capay Valley Almond Festival. Such was her devotion to her family, friends, and the community she loved.

She is preceded in death by her father.

She leaves behind her husband, William; children Nickolas, Matt, Ellie, Trevor, Jordan (Kassie), Vanessa Shatto, and Amber Stine; siblings Michael, Tonya, and Michelle (Troy) Lyon; and her mother Betty.

She touched many lives, and was loved by all. She will be missed.■
