Camping available for Stonyford Rodeo

Visitors to the 80th annual Stonyford Rodeo, May 5-7, who want to spend the weekend will have multiple camping opportunities available.

Nearby East Park Reservoir provides lakeside camping sites on the Lodoga and Stonyford ends. The Lodoga end is eight miles from the rodeo arena; the Stonyford end is two miles away. The campsites are managed by Colusa County. For more information, camping fees, or registration, log onto visitcolusacounty.com. Regular camping and group sites available.

For closer convenience to rodeo and other local activities, the Stony Creek Horsemen’s Association manages a camping area east of the rodeogrounds with plenty of trees and easy access to the arena, restrooms, and local businesses. Camping is $30 per vehicle on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to safety requirements, no guns, fireworks, motorcycles, ATVs or similar-type vehicles are allowed on the property.
