Colusa seeks support for grant application

The City of Colusa is seeking Letters of Support to submit with its application for a $20 million Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity grant. The RAISE grants support investments in surface transportation that have a significant local or regional impact, and ensure safety for all travelers, whether vehicle, bike, wheelchair, or on foot.

The grants are also intended to help cities repair infrastructure, with a particular focus on climate change mitigation and resilience, and support a more just and equitable transportation system by investing in historically underserved communities to connect them with jobs, resources, and opportunities, and empowering them to build generational wealth.

Organizations that would like to submit a letter can write their own or obtain an editable draft letter by contacting Grant Writer Fernanda Vanetta at grants@cityofcolusa.com.

Letters must include your organization’s name, date, signature, title and contact information, and should be on formal letterhead. Please submit letters to the U.S. Department of Transportation via email to Vanetta by 4 PM on Monday as her deadline to submit the grant application to the DOT is Feb. 28.
