‘Jacket football back at it

Williams lineman Jose Martinez leads the way for running back Jose Campos during a summer workout.

Looking to build upon last season’s success, the Williams Yellowjackets football team has been hard at it this summer.

In the weight room and on the field, the ‘Jackets are having one of their largest turnouts in recent memory, which bodes well for the upcoming season.

While the reigning Mid-Valley League champs lost some of their biggest playmakers to graduation, they have seemingly reloaded this summer with an athletic group of rising juniors.

Williams officially starts practice Aug. 1 and will open the season at home against Paradise on Aug. 26. ■
