It is with great sadness that we have lost our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Karla R. Williams. She passed away peacefully at California Park Rehab Center in Chico, July 9, 2022, with her family by her side. Karla was born May 10, 1944, in Colusa, California where she spent her childhood and graduated from Colusa High School.
The summer of 1962 she married the love of her life James “Bud” Williams in Colusa where they settled and raised their two daughters, Debra, and Kimi.
Karla worked for JC Penney, Montgomery Ward and assisted for Our Lady of Lourdes School. She was on the board of directors for the women’s bowling league with Riverside Lanes and loved to keep score for the men and women’s bowling leagues. Some of her hobbies were playing Bingo, working crossword puzzles, embroidery and playing all types of card games but above all she loved spending time with her family.
Karla’s survived by her husband, James “Bud” Williams of 60 years. Her daughters Debra Martinez (Rozi) Kimi Fernandez (John) and her two grandchildren Mikenzie and Sammy Martinez. Karla’s proceeded in death with her parents Victor and Helen Lucchesi, and bother, Jim Lucchesi.
A celebration of life will be held at Rocco’s Banquet Hall August 27, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made on Karla’s behalf to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, 741 Ware Ave., Colusa, Ca. 95932, or charity of your choice.
