Maxine Reilly passed away June 14, 2022, at the age of 98, in Williams, Calif.
Maxine was born in Moorehead, Minnesota, to Bill and Leone Smith. She had two older sisters (Ruthie and Birdie).
Maxine attended schools in Moorehead. In 1944, the family traveled in their 1936 Ford V8, taking Route 66 all the way to California, making their way to Palo Alto, where other family members lived.
In 1945, Maxine married Bill Reilly.
After her parents moved to Colusa in 1952, where her dad took a job at the Colusa Theater, Bill, Maxine, and daughter followed them a year later in 1953.
Maxine worked at Davison Drug Store for 15 years and volunteered at Valley West for 15 years.
Maxine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy (Tim) Ingraham; great-grandson Brett Gross; and great-granddaughter Bayley Heimburger.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Shelly Fusaro and her husband, Bill Reilly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on July 8, 2022, at the First Presbyterian Church, in Colusa.
A reception will follow at 12 PM at Rocco’s Banquet Hall on Main Street.
