Then his adventurous spirit lead him to living in different places around the United States and eventually ending up in Atlanta, Georgia.

Charlie was an extremely talented fabricator.  His passion started in high school building trailers and other projects in his ag mechanics class and lead to many jobs building things and working with his hands.  His talent eventually lead him to being a Welding Forman on numerous movies and even got his name in the credits of “Home Front”, “Battleship”, “Beautiful Things”, “Deepwater Horizon”, “Planet of the Apes” to name a few.

Charlie leaves behind his parents Don Litchfield (Carolee) of Colusa, Sharon Ritchie (Jeff) of Hughson, sisters Jackie Kennedy (Adam) of Willows, Ashley Ornbaun (Hunter) of Colusa, Grandparents Ed & Merle Ritchie of Danville, uncles, Dean Litchfield (Robie) of Reno, NV, Stephen Litchfield (Tara) of Santa Barbra, Daniel Litchfield (Josie) of Quincy, Jim Ritchie (Sarah) of Brentwood and Bryan Ritchie of Danville, longtime girlfriend Dara Dickerson of Atlanta, Georgia as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

To know Charlie, was to love Charlie.  He had an easy-going personality, always the light of the room and loved making people laugh.  He lived his life and didn’t care who was watching along the way.  Growing up he enjoyed playing many baseball games at the Little League Field in Colusa and playing football in High School.  He loved being in the outdoors which include many fishing, camping and hunting trips growing up with his family & friends.
