NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A hearing will be held Tuesday July 12, 2022 at 10:00 am, at the Community Development Department, 1213 Market Street, Colusa, California. All interested persons are invited to submit comments in writing, or attend and be heard. Written comments should be filed with the Community Development Department.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the applicants as listed below have applied to the Colusa County Zoning Administrator for the designated projects at each respective location which require a minor use permit, minor variance, and/or environmental determination:
PD-22-17, Minor Use Permit for Sunrise Drying: The project consists of a Proposed Categorical Exemption and Minor Use Permit allowing the re-establishment of seasonal fruit drying operations on an 8+/- acre portion of a 13+/- acre property located at 7207 Moon Bend Road, also identified as APN 015-240-061. The property is zoned Light Industrial (M-1). The applicant will conduct fruit drying operations, apples 6:00 am to 6:00 pm from February to April, transitioning to blueberries and cherries 24 hours a day from May to September, and back to apples 6:00 am to 6:00 pm September through November.
