COUNTY OF COLUSA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR SUBMITTAL OF STATE CDBG APPLICATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Colusa will conduct a Public Hearing on August 31, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., in the County Board of Supervisors Chambers at 546 Jay Street, Suite 108, Colusa, CA, 95932 in order to submit a Program Income Only Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project, and solicit public input.
The County of Colusa is applying for approval to expend approximately $17,500 in existing Program Income for the following eligible activity:
The Stonyford Community Hall Association is requesting a $17,500 grant from Program Income funds for a pre-made (Tuff Shed) auxiliary room and 20 lightweight tables, 52 lightweight chairs, 2 table carts and 2 hanging chair carts. The Community Hall facility is available to all persons in the Stonyford area and serves as the only meeting place in the Stonyford community. The hall is offered at a low, or more often, no cost rental to the residents of the Stonyford community.
As of June 30, 2021, the County of Colusa has $1,161,451 in CDBG Program Income that must be expended prior to applying for additional CDBG grant funding.
The purpose of the public hearing is to give people an opportunity to make their comments known on the proposed activities/application.
