NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A hearing will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at the Community Development Department, 1213 Market Street, Colusa, California. All interested persons are invited to submit comments in writing, or attend and be heard. Written comments should be filed with the Community Development Department.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the applicants as listed below have applied to the Colusa County Zoning Administrator for the designated projects at each respective location which require a minor use permit, minor variance, and/or environmental determination:
PD-21-20, Minor Use Permit for Morning Star Packing Company- The project consists of a Proposed Categorical Exemption and Minor Use Permit to allow the use of a modular trailer which has been outfitted to be used as temporary sleeping quarters for farm workers located at an existing agricultural laborer housing complex at 6558 Grant Avenue in the Arbuckle area, also identified as 021-310-057. The property is zoned Exclusive Agriculture (E-A). The modular is 12 feet wide by 64 feet wide and has sleeping quarters only (beds separated by heavy duty screens) for 12 individuals. The kitchen and bathroom facilities at the existing agricultural laborer housing complex will be utilized. The applicant is proposing that the modular be utilized for a period of approximately five months each year from mid-July to early November.
