ORDINANCE NO. 814

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COLUSA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ADOPTING CEQA STATUTORY EXEMPTIONS AND AMENDING THE COUNTY ZONING MAPS ESTABLISING ZONING ON A PORTION OF A PROPERTY AND REZONING VARIOUS ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBERS IN THE MAXWELL AND WILLIAMS AREAS.

THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF COLUSA ordains as follows:

SECTION 1.

The provisions of this ordinance are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.  CEQA pursuant to Title 14, Article 5 of the California Code of Regulations Sections 15060(c)(2) because this project will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment, and 15061(b)(3) because there is no possibility this ordinance may have a significant effect on the environment. 

SECTION 2.

Amends the official zoning maps of Colusa County, establishing the zoning designation of Community Commercial (C-2) on a 3.45 acre portion of a property identified as 113 Old Highway 99 West as shown on Exhibit ” A” and amends the official zoning maps changing the zoning designations on Assessor Parcel Numbers (APNs) 016-250-008, 016-250-009, 016-250-010, 016-250-028, and 016-250-029 totaling 1.91 acres from Highway Service Commercial (CH) to Residential Single Family (R-1-8), as shown on Exhibit ” B; and amends the official zoning maps of Colusa County, changing the zoning designation on APN 016-250-013 from Residential Single Family (R-1-8) to Highway Service Commercial (CH) as shown Exhibit ” B.

SECTION 3.

This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after its passage. It shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the ordinance in a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of Colusa, State of California, within fifteen (15) days after its passage.

Introduced and passed and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Colusa, State of California, on the 22nd day of June, 2021, by the following roll call vote:

AYES:     Supervisors Daurice K. Smith, Kent S. Boes, Denise J. Carter, J. Merced Corona and Gary J. Evans.

NOES:     None.

ABSENT: None.
