Farm Bureau Bounty Luncheon

Colusa County Farm Bureau Director Heather Ellingson with Colusa Police Officer Darren Ram are shown at the first Local Bounty lunch and auction on Thursday, which was a huge success. Last weeks auction included a succulent garden in a vintage toolbox, a $100 gift certificate to Broken Oak Acres Farmhouse Flowers, with hand-tooled earrings by Santucci Leather. The second auction item was a private vineyard tour and wine tasting at Grindstone Winery, two bottles of wine, Jeffreys Ranch pecans and turtles, a $60 gift certificate from Grazzerie, local almonds, and walnuts. Last week, the Farm Bureau provided lunch to Colusa Police officers at no cost. The next lunch and online auction is May 27 for a private tour of Farmers Brewing Company and a Sunflower photography session donated by Mitchell Yerxa. Lunch will be provided by Sauced Food Truck, with the Farm Bureau providing lunch to Colusa County Sheriffs Department. The third auction for handmade cornhole boards from Blair Brothers Wood and Family Photography session donated by Cheri Azevedo will be June 17, with lunch provided by Roccos to the Williams Police Department.
